The Best Lustrous Emu Oil and

Copyright Mabel White

Emu Oil is one of the most healing and precious oils on the planet.  High quality Emu oil has a natural pearl luminescent color.  The Mabel White Company is the first entity on the web that offers formula's we created involving the use of SoyWax™ in lip balm making.  SoyWax™ is 100% natural and just idea for making your own lip balm.  It is also very affordable.  Making your own lip balm is a very easy way to get started in making your own skin care products, fast,  and very rewarding.  You know you are getting a higher quality product and saving allot of money.  Emu oil is the most precious oil we are finding for the skin and SoyWax™ is a great medium for making this naturally lustrous combination firm.  This is the best lip balm we have ever seen and you will always want to keep it on you.

To make ten .05 ounce containers:  Have your containers open and ready.  This will not take long.  Melt the beeswax in a disposable plastic cup for a minute in the microwave and then add soy and continue to melt just a tad longer, stirring until clear.  Add the emu oil and stir, flavoring to taste.  Pour into container and you are done.  They will cool within an hour.  Ingredients can be purchased from the Mabel White Company.

1 Part Mabel's SoyWax™

1 Part Mabel White's Emu Oil

1/8 Ounce Mabel's 100% Beeswax Chips

Desired drops of Vanilla/Honey Lip Balm Flavoring.

  • If you want to make gloss just use Emu oil and a little flavor.
  • If you like you can add lip stick slivers for color!
  • You can also substitute part of the Emu oil with Vitamin e or Primrose oil.

For Lip Balm tubes increase the ratios to 3/4 SoyWax™ and 1/4 Emu Oil so the stick will stay firm.   To make tubes you simply drop the ready mixture into the tubes using a dropper.   Many more recipes can be found in The Bathroom Chemist and our new and revised Self Apothecary.
